obligatory update

This post is for those that may still be following the blog.

Mechanized Warfare is no more, and the final release was in Summer 2016.

I started producing music again in November 2019 under the name The Evil Dark.
If you want new music from me, look for it under the new name.

Download my music from these sites

Putting together a short list of places that my music can be downloaded (and to put aside any confusion as i belong to a number of sites mainly to get my name out there)...
The four places listed below are sites where you can download my music for Free!

Best place to download from:
-The Official Mechanized Warfare Site: Head over to the music page and download there. easiest place to find my music. The first section of the "music" page is called "Album Downloads", you can freely download the .zip files of the full releases listed, just by clicking the links. And these downloads contain the full quality of every song made. VISIT HERE

Second best:
-BandCamp: From the main page, you can pick what release you would like to download to get directed to it's own page, and from there you can download the entire release in a .zip file. A pro to downloading from bandcamp would be if you don't like the .mp3 format, they offer alternative formats. There's no upload limits here so quality is great. VISIT HERE

Third best:
-ReverbNation: Right on the front page in the middle is a section called "Discography". There you can click on a release to be directed to a page where you can download the songs. Only cons here is that you will have to download each song individually, and quality isn't always as good here since reverbnation has a 8MB upload size limit on songs VISIT HERE

And lastly:
-SoundCloud: Most stuff gets posted here, and is available for download. There is no upload size limit, but they do have a time limit on how much stuff can be on a single account's page. One of the main cons here is that sometimes when you play a song, there is a small quality loss because soundcloud has to convert every uploaded sound to 128mbps bitrate .mp3 format for playback. although when a song is downloaded the quality seems to be fine. Also some artists may chose to delete songs after a certain amount of time in order to accommodate the time limit. Another smaller con would be that you have to download each song individually, and sometimes the files may be slightly mislabeled since soundcloud doesn't correct the original file information. VISIT HERE

I hope that clears up any confusion. I do have some of music on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and such other places (most places except Pandora/Rhapsody)... I went with a distributor to place my music on such markets but it's only to get my name and music out there and perhaps gain new fans. Also, those are the same songs you can get for free from the pages above!
